See what previous visitors to our paradise home have said about their stay.

We feel priviledged to have had many wonderful guests to our paradise home over the years - many have returned time and again and are now counted amongst our closest friends. Because we love our home and Siquijor so much we always want visitors to love it too - and below are just a few of the comments from those who have. We hope that one day soon we may add your comments to this list.

Jess & Cath, we cannot thank you enough for introducing us to this most beautiful of islands and making us feel so welcome when we visit. On our fourth trip now and already planning the next!Harry & Lucy, UK
"The Bruce" is the perfect place to relax and strip away the worries of everyday life. I can think of no place I'd rather be.Pam, Connecticut, USA
Somebody asked me what the best thing about my trip was, and I couldn't answer them - not because it wasn't wonderful but because I couldn't decide between the fantastic and ever friendly locals and your wonderful holiday home.
I've decided I'll return as quickly as possible so that I can find out! Tony, London, UK
Great weather, great food, great place, great people and great diving. GREAT HOLIDAY!Mike and Jenny, Sydney, Australia
We've travelled all around the world but never been anywhere where we've felt more at home. And the kids had an absolutely fantastic time - they're the envy of all their friends. Thanks Jess, see you soon.Gary, Jingles and the boys, Capetown, S. Africa

Festivals on Siquijor
For those who would like to experience and witness something out of the ordinary, Siquijor offers the yearly "Folk Healers" Festival at Crocodile Hill during Easter Week. The healing and enchanting ceremony usually takes place during the full moon. Live insects and various herbs are thrown into a giant cauldron filled with boiling water, while the participants gather around in a circle mumbling incantations. Dance sessions follow the eerie ritual. Some of the Folk Healers prefer to brew potions only on Black Saturday because, with Christ dead, other unknown elements, able to empower healing potions are released.
